Seasonal affective disorder is a subcategory of major depressive disorder that is associated with changes in seasonal weather patterns, and is particularly prevalent at northern latitudes (i.e., Canada).
On Wednesday, December 3 from 12:00pm-1:00pm, the SU Wellness Centre offers a workshop geared toward introducing the signs and symptoms of seasonal affective disorder, how to spot these symptoms in dependents or partners, treating the disorder, where to to go for assistance with this disorder and how to negotiate with departments and supervisors when dealing with this disorder.
