Two Important Upcoming Workshops

The Student Success Centre at the University of Calgary holds many great workshops all year round – two upcoming workshops are of particular importance.

First, Avoiding a Crash is designed for students in the Faculties of Arts and Sciences who believe they are at risk of being placed on Academic Probation or required to withdraw (this usually means a GPA over the last year of 2.0 or less). The workshop will assist these students in developing a personalized plan for academic success, and give an overview of the campus resources available for students looking to improve their grades.

Avoiding a Crash has two upcoming dates: November 28, 2013, 2-4pm, and November 29, 11am-1pm.

With finals approaching, students may also be interested in another workshop offering, Reducing Text Anxiety. Registrants will be provided with relaxation techniques and cognitive strategies to assist with managing anxiety during texts.

Reducing Text Anxiety will be held December 3, 5-6pm.

Visit the SSC Event Calendar to register for these workshops.
