Strategies for Exam Anxiety Group

The Wellness Centre is running a Strategies for Exam Anxiety group beginning March 28, 2018.

Who is this group for?

If you are experiencing anxiety and fear and it’s impacting your test performance, this group is for you.

What happens in this group?

The Strategies for Exam Anxiety Group looks at your thinking, emotions and test performance to understand how they are connected. You will be introduced to ideas from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help reduce your anxiety and improve your test performance. Included in the sessions will be strategies for improving your test performance, inviting relaxation and ways to increase confidence in test writing situations.

Group sessions run weekly. We recommend that participants complete all three sessions with their group. 

Dates: Wednesdays, March 28-April 11, 2018
Time: 2-3:30pm
Location: Wellness Centre Classrom (MSC 370).

Registration is available online or through staff at the Wellness Centre.
