A Calgary chapter of InvisAbilities – a student-founded and -run organization that promotes awareness, education and support of young adults living with hidden, chronic illness – recently opened.
Among the programs being offered by this new chapter is a buddy program which pairs students who are living with similar illnesses together, building an invaluable peer-to-peer support network.
For more information on the UCalgary chapter, visit the website or send them an e-mail.
