Dr. Gregor Wolbring, Associate Professor in the Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies program, along with undergraduate student Aspen Lillywhite, are investigating the topic of undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities as knowledge/evidence generators.
People with disabilities are highly impacted by what knowledge/evidence is generated to inform policies. At the same time it is recognized by many that there is a lack of knowledge/evidence on the social situation of people with disabilities. The purpose of this study is to understand better the role and reality of students with disabilities as knowledge/evidence generators including whether students with disabilities (undergraduate and graduate) see themselves as knowledge/evidence generators.
