On Saturday, April 6, 2013, the University of Calgary’s 2013 Leadership Exchange will take place. This event brings together students from across the campus community to share experiences, discuss innovative ideas, and further build a culture of leadership, where each University of Calgary student can live up to his or her potential.
The theme of this year’s event is “Uncommon Energy: A New Generation of Leaders.” The Keynote Speaker is Jessi Cruickshank, former face of MTV Canada and long-time Canadian ambassador for non-profit organization Free the Children. Jessi will encourage attendees to see beyond the MTV world and discover the power each holds to create positive change.
The event will also feature speaker panels on leadership in the arts, business, social justice and sustainability, arts and healthcare.
