CanLearn Society: More Than Just Making Lists

CanLearn Society presents More Than Just Making Lists, a 10-week intervention program for working professionals and mature students with ADHD.

This intensive ‘Social Cognitive Behavioural Intervention’ program focuses on helping you to develop practical skills to improve and deal with:
• disorganization
• procrastination
• impulsivity
• forgetfulness
• emotional functioning
• distractability
• mindfulness
• self awareness

W²RAP UP Fall 2017

The Student Success Centre, Libraries & Cultural Resources, and the SU Wellness Centre have partnered to run a program called W2RAP UP from Nov. 28 – 30, 2017.

This program provides Writing, Wellness, Research, and Academic Support, as well as Peer-Assisted Study Sessions. Through group sessions, you will have an opportunity to receive support for exam-preparation, research, and writing, as well as support for maintaining holistic wellness during the final stretch of the term.  Writing Tutors and Academic Development Specialists will offer one-on-one sessions, and stress-reduction activities such as making stress-balls and receiving free massages will also be offered. This event will provide you with access to services and resources on campus to help you as you wrap up the term!

Updated: SU Wellness Centre: Strategies for Exam Anxiety

This group will now run November 22, November 29, and December 6, 2017. Students can also now register online.


Starting Thursday, November 15, 2017, the SU Wellness Centre is offering a 3 session Cognitive Behavioural Therapy based group for exam anxiety. Included in the sessions will be strategies for improving your test performance, inviting relaxation and ways to increase confidence in test writing situations.
