The Body Project: Peer Leader Application

Apply to be a Peer Leader for The Body Project!

A Body Project Peer Leader co-facilitates an interactive (activity and discussion based) workshop and plans events to promote the program.  Peer leaders will present The Body Project workshops using a script and activities that have already been developed by The Body Project.  A peer leader is not required to have prior knowledge about body image.

If you would like to be a Peer Leader for The Body Project, please read the position description carefully and fill out the application form.

The Body Project helps women resist cultural pressures to conform to society’s idealized standards of female beauty, and helps them reduce their pursuit of unrealistic bodies. Google Lime Scholarship 2018

Lime Connect is proud to partner with Google to help the innovators of the future make the most of their talents by providing scholarships and networking retreats for computer science students with disabilities.

The Google Lime Scholarship is an opportunity for current full-time university students who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degrees in computer science, computer engineering or a closely related field to receive $5,000, attend the annual Google Scholars Retreat and be considered for an internship. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as full-time students for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The deadline to apply is Sunday, December 10th at 11:59pm PST.
