Bank of Canada Scholarship and Work Placement Program

The Bank of Canada’s Scholarship and Work Placement Program is designed to assist students with disabilities in furthering their education and to encourage them to take an interest in the work performed by the Bank of Canada. These annual $4,000 scholarships and work placement opportunities reflect the Bank’s commitment to the diversity of people and ideas and their desire to further enhance their diverse and inclusive work environment.

Summer Opportunities at NUTV

NUTV is now accepting applications to hire full-time Summer Students for paid positions running from May-August under a pending grant from Canada Summer Jobs. Eligible candidates must be students who are returning to school in the Fall.

The positions are: Summer Film School Coordinator, Script Coordinator, Archive Data Technician, Digital Content Coordinator, and Community Outreach Manager. More information on each position is available on the NUTV website.

The positions pay $13.50 per hour, 35 hours per week, for 16 weeks.

On April 6, 2017, SAS is providing a half day of academic strategies support sessions for students who are registered with Student Accessibility Services.

Focus topics include:

  • Exam strategies
  • Time management & spaced practice
  • Well-being strategies – sleep and the brain
