The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) offers an annual Student Awards Program “to encourage full access to post-secondary education for persons with disabilities, who often have greater barriers to participation in higher education, as well as extra costs because of their disabilities.”
Students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, with a permanent disability, and currently registered and returning to a full-time (at least 40% of a full course load) program at an accredited Canadian post-secondary college or university are eligible.
There are 5 awards available, each valued at $3000.00. The deadline to apply is March 15.
